The underground meteorology requires very refined operating techniques because of the small variations of temperature, pressure and humidity caused by the insufficient communications with the outside.
In the deep cavities with little exchanges with the outside, like those below via Chiaia and via Toledo, the temperature is constant during all the year and it is around 17°C. The humidity is elevated and it is about 90%.
